Go to the Request A Booking page to fill an intake form. You can also reach out to info@fancycathotel.com or (608) 620-4956 ‬and we will reply within 24 hours!

What is needed to book a stay?

For a guest’s first stay, we’ll need a filled intake form and proof of rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccination on file.

Can I see the FCH (Fancy Cat Hotel) for myself?

Of course! We offer tours of FCH by appointment only; contact our phone ‪(608) 620-4956‬ or email info@fancycathotel.com for availability.

Where are you located?

We are on the west side of Madison in a quiet neighborhood behind Owen Conservation Park. Our address is provided at the time of booking or tour scheduling.

Do you accept guests that require continuous medical supervision?

We absolutely accept and accommodate guests with any non-contagious medical condition. We provide constant supervision and overnight care with a 24/7 guest stream for their owner’s peace of mind.

Additionally, our staff is RECOVER CPR trained and certified. In the case of emergencies requiring immediate medical attention, we are less than 10 minutes away from the nearest 24-hour animal hospital.

My cat takes medication daily; is that a problem?

We know every guest has different needs, which is why our staff is trained in all methods of medication administration, provided free of charge.

Will my cat come in contact with other feline guests?

No, guests are kept in separate rooms to avoid conflict and anxiety amongst each other. The only exception being guests from the same household may share a room.

Does your shuttle offer home pick-ups?

We offer pick-up and drop-off in the greater Madison area, wherever is most convenient for you. Whether that be the home, airport, or anywhere in between.

What should I bring?

Owners should bring all necessary medication as well as their carrier in the case of an emergency. While optional, we encourage owners to bring comfort items that would help them settle into a new environment. This could be anything from a favorite blanket to cat bed or even a t-shirt, essentially anything with a familiar scent of home.
For picky eaters we also recommend bringing their preferred food from home.

What is provided by the FCH?

We provide treats, toys, litter, serving bowls and all other standard necessities for the guest’s stay (along with extra amenities!). FCH is happy to serve food brought from home at no additional charge or we can provide our in-house food for a small additional fee ($3 daily).

Meals includes a choice of salmon or chicken in wet and/or dry form, all grain-free and high quality. Please let us know if there are any specific allergies or diet restrictions.

Do you also accept dogs?

While we love all animals at the FCH, for the mental well-being of our feline guests, we politely decline boarding for dogs to ensure a peaceful and serene environment.

For at-home visits, we may accept dogs on a case-by-case basis depending on the energy and maintenance level of your pooch. Please inquire with us directly for more details.

Do you offer grooming services?

We offer complimentary hair brushing depending on of the guest’s level of comfort in being handled. In the interest of keeping away stress, we do not offer haircuts or shaving services. Baths are only provided in the case of accidents for sanitary reasons where the guest’s health & safety would otherwise be compromised.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept all major forms of payment, including cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. Cards are also accepted with a small processing fee. Payment is due by the beginning date/time of the booking.
